However, we can’t deny the effectiveness of antibiotics to our health problems. Although, there is different odor that we perceive when taking drugs. This usually occur when you are feeling sick. Therefore, the decision to take drugs, especially antibiotics with diary product just to ease the intake is understandable.

One of their major benefits Is that they eliminate germs and also prevent them from multiplying.


Mostly, this drug is used to cure bacterial infections, such as skin infections, sore throat, sinus infection [ face pain], urinary tract infection, and many more. Common example of antibiotic is Penicillin. Now that you know more about antibiotics, imagine our health system without them. Is it looking good?



What are dairy products?

Naturally, milk is a dairy product that gives nutrient packed food to the body. They are classified as an excellent source of minerals and vitamins. Did we also mention that milk is a good source of calcium, potassium, and protein? Although, mammals’ milk differs in composition. Thus, it’s mostly to accommodate the varying growth rates of the various species, such as animals and humans.


A good example of this is the mother’s milk. The main influencing factor of a young animal or human growth is through the mother’s milk protein.


Fascinating right? That explains your undying love for your mother. Also, milk is not the only dairy product we have. Other includes butter, cheese, ice cream, yogurt, condensed and dried milk. Although, they all are derived from milk.

 

Antibiotics and Dairy products

Naturally, we tend to not take drug without using something sweet, such as carbonated drink, milk, and so on. This is mainly because of their sweetness. The mixture of drug with something sweet as Milk is magically. However, milk’s calcium binds to the antibiotic, preventing it from entering the bloodstream to combat illness.


Therefore, the eradication of the infection is not certain. Thus, the milk will only affect half of the medication.

 In addition, the effectiveness of your antibiotics depends you not taking them with milk or any other dairy products.


Also, ensure that you avoid milk for two hours prior to and following the administration of the antibiotic. Naturally, humans tend to find a way around challenges, especially situations like this. Therefore, you must also know that milk inside your tea is generally okay.


But, do not take your antibiotics with a drink, such as tea. This is because hot liquid does not work as well for getting a drug down your throat.
